Ministry in St. Petersburg, FL

We just returned home (after driving 16 hours yesterday) from an awesome weekend of ministry at Suncoast Cathedral in St. Petersburg, FL.  Shelly Korrot, music minister, is a former college classmate (and fellow Revivaltime Choir member) and invited us to come do some teaching & training with her choir and worship & media teams, as well as to minister in the Sunday services.  We call it a “Worship Encounter” weekend when we do this.  We spent the whole day Saturday teaching on worship and rehearsing with the team for ministry on Sunday.  In both AM & PM services on Sunday we experienced a powerful atmosphere of worship and intimate times around the altars.  What a great staff!  Shelly is awesome, of course, but we were also so impressed with lead pastor Tim Suddreth and the rest of the team who were incredible hosts and treated us like family.  They bent over backwards to provide everything we needed technically and gave us freedom to minister as we felt led.  Hopefully we’ll post some pictures soon.
